WebDo not buy your domain through a hosting company. You want to buy your domain through an independent separate entity. Do NOT use GoDaddy. Avoid smaller registrars too, many are just resellers which can cause you a lot of problems (even losing your domain) if they shut down. Personally I use and highly recommend NameSilo.
